No Attorney-Client Relationship

Important: Please Read Carefully

Using this website or contacting our firm does not create an attorney-client relationship. No such relationship exists unless and until you sign a written engagement agreement with Consumer Litigation Associates, P.C.

The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. The following actions do not create an attorney-client relationship:

  • Viewing or reading any content on this website
  • Using our interactive tools, quizzes, or letter generator
  • Submitting an inquiry through our contact form
  • Calling our office or leaving a voicemail
  • Sending us an email
  • Receiving an automated response or acknowledgment from us
  • Having an initial conversation with an attorney from our firm

When is an attorney-client relationship created? An attorney-client relationship with Consumer Litigation Associates, P.C. is established only when all of the following occur:

  1. Our firm agrees to represent you after reviewing your matter
  2. You sign a written engagement agreement (also called a retainer agreement or fee agreement)
  3. We countersign and return a copy of that agreement to you

Confidential Information: Until a written engagement agreement is signed by both parties, please do not send us any confidential or sensitive information beyond what is necessary for us to evaluate whether we may be able to assist you. Information submitted through our website prior to an engagement agreement may not be protected by attorney-client privilege to the same extent as communications made after representation begins.

Prospective Client Communications: If you contact us seeking representation, you may be considered a "prospective client" under applicable rules of professional conduct. While we have duties to protect certain information you share with us during preliminary discussions, those duties are more limited than the duties we owe to actual clients. We will not use information you provide to us against you, but we may decline representation for any reason, including conflicts of interest.

No Obligation: Submitting an inquiry does not obligate you to hire us, nor does it obligate us to represent you. Either party may decide not to proceed for any reason.
